The Roseanne spinoff, minus Roseanne, is getting closer to reality. The Hollywood Reporter says a greenlight announcement from ABC could come as soon as this week. The new show is expected to focus on Sara Gilbert’s character, Darlene, but John Goodman and Laurie Metcalf could also reprise their roles. One potential obstacle: Roseanne herself.
