Parkland Drama Teacher Melody Herzfeld Honored With Special Tony Award

Melody Herzfeld, who has taught drama at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School for 15 years, is this year’s special Tony Award winner for excellence in theater education. She was nominated for the prestigious award by some of her former students, including Monica Andrews, who is now a drama teacher herself.
