Furry models and their friends took turns walking down the catwalk at Manhattan’s famed Algonquin Hotel feline fashion show. All profits raised from the extravagant event went to support animal rescue efforts throughout New York City. The theme was “The Purring 20’s.” This year, it was the hotel’s 12th resident cat, Hamlet VIII who presided over the celebration. Between sales of $75 tickets and a silent auction, event coordinators said they expected to raise more than $10,000.
