BREAKING: Biden calls Trump getting COVID-19 ‘a reminder to take virus seriously’

Democratic candidate Joe Biden said the US President’s COVID-19 diagnosis is a “bracing reminder” that “we need to take this virus seriously”.

Speaking at a news conference after he tested negative for coronavirus, Mr Biden said more than 100,000 American lives could be saved if everyone wore a mask in public.

He also said rapid testing needs to be available to everyone, not just prominent politicians like himself.”
