Black Bear Pokes Head Out of Tree as It Slowly Emerges From Hibernation

It’s been a long winter and a long nap for this black bear. While most of us have time to get ready for a photo after waking up, not him. A webcam in Glacier National Park caught this sleepyhead coming out of hibernation in a cottonwood tree, where he made his den for the winter. Park officials say bears will start to rejoin the living in the spring as food becomes available. InsideEdition.com’s Mara Montalbano (https://twitter.com/MaraMontalbano) has more.
