Babe Ruth’s bat is up for auction and may be sold for over $1 million. This Louisville Slugger was used by Ruth, aka “The Sultan of Swat,” to hit his 500th home run on Aug. 11, 1929. At over 38 ounces, it’s bigger than your average bat, too. “It’s his war club,” David Kohler of SCP Auctions told InsideEdition.com. “Ruth used very heavy bats.” The bat has all the tell-tale signs of game play, including ball impact marks and cleat marks.
