No Reservations: 2 Penguins Wander Into New Zealand Bar

A pair of blue penguins found their way into a sushi bar in New Zealand’s capital city of Wellington, without a reservation. Once inside, the penguins confounded wildlife officers by hiding under a refrigeration unit. Jack Mace with the New Zealand Department of Conservation says the penguins were likely looking for “a hole or a tight place that they can hide into where they’ll be safe” from predators. The penguins were eventually captured and released into the Wellington Harbour.
