Sarah Everard’s family have paid tribute to their ‘wonderful daughter and sister’ and urged any witnesses to come forward.
In a statement they described Sarah as ‘kind and strong’ and urged anyone with any information on the case to come forward.
They said: ‘Please come forward and speak to the police if you have any information. No piece of information is too insignificant’.
It has also now emerged the suspect in the case, a serving police officer, had to be taken to hospital for a head injury suffered while in custody.
