Hurricane Michael has carved a path of destruction, knocking out electricity for hundreds of thousands of residents. So what do you do in the event of a blackout? Inside Edition traveled to upstate New York, where wilderness expert Shane Hobel shared some hurricane survival hacks. For example, you can easily turn a can into a mini stove. Start by using a can opener to punch holes in the bottom of a 10-ounce juice can. Then pop out the metal cutouts to create legs. For more, watch the video.
