Warm weather is here, and your kids are going to want to keep cool. But if you plan on using a garden hose, be warned. How dangerous can a hose get? Fernando Herrera, Riverside County Fire Captain, gave a mother of three some advice. “The first thing you want to do is open up the nozzle, let the water flow for at least a minute and make sure that the cool water will start running before you fill the pool,” said Herrera. He said to always keep the hose in the shade when it it’s not being used.
