It’s no secret that sharks are attracted to the scent of blood. They use the scent of it to find injured fish, which in turn helps them find food. They’re also known to use their hearing and sight, of course, and even pick up on the movement on water to determine if a potential threat or prey is near. However it seems the most common belief is that sharks use the scent of blood to find their prey, which leads many wondering how much blood is needed for them to pick up a scent?
