An Alabama boy is winning his fight with a disease so rare that it didn’t even have a name. So, doctors named it after him. When Grayson Smith, 6, was born in 2013, doctors were baffled as to what could be ailing him. A third of his skull was missing. He also had a hole in his heart, and deformities in his face and spinal cord. His family says they were told he wouldn’t live longer than a month. InsideEdition.com’s Mara Montalbano has more.
